Haiying Li is an experimental psychology PhD student working in the Institute for Intelligent Systems at the University of Memphis. She is interested in discourse analysis, intelligent tutoring systems, motivation, and computational linguistics.
Background
Haiying received her Bachelor’s and Master’s at Hebei Normal University in China, with the degree in English Education and English linguistics respectively. She taught English as a foreign language in Handan No. 1 High School and then in Beijing Sport University, where she conducted research on curriculum design, learning strategies, and learning environment. Currently, she is involved in the projects Language across Culture and AutoMentor at University of Memphis.
