Jennifer Saucerman is a graduate student in the Epistemic Games research group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is interested in how epistemic games can increase interest and engagement in STEM fields among girls and women by teaching them how to think like professionals in the field.
Background
Before joining Epistemic Games, Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in computing information technology from Alverno College. As an undergraduate, her research focused on women’s participation in video game play and STEM careers. In addition, her work as a research associate at the Research Center for Women and Girls pertained to issues related to relational aggression and cyberbullying. Jennifer is currently working on the Land Science project.
